Long Forgotten Sons

Wil stared out of thne window at the feilds passing by, intuiging the five year old from the inner-city who had never seen scenery like this before. "Where are we going momma?"

2We're going to see your Auntie, William. She lives very far away, and she's very ol, so you better be good, okay?"

Wil nodded, grinning excitedly "Ok Momm!" he beamed. When his mother let him out of the car in front of the old country house he bounced out excitedly, clutching a lopsided teddy bear.

The old lady lent on her cane heavily, watching the boy. "Wipe that smile off your face, chid."

Wil looked confused, staring up at his mother "momma?"

"Yull be staying with auntie for a whle, William. NNow you be ood. We'll be back soon."

Wil nodded and hugged her, whimpering when he was shaken off and they drove away. He sniffled, clutching hi bear and starting to cry.

2Stop your crying! I bet that's why your parents gave you up. In my day, chidren we to be seen nt heard..."

Wil just continued to sob, sitting on the floor and hugging his bear to his chest "Wanna go home!"

She sighed. 2They're not coming for you, kid. Not for a long tme."

Wil wailed into his teddy, not understanding why his mother had left him there.

His Aunt passed hm the skirt. "You're such n ungrateful child, never accepting clothes when I give them to you."

Wil glared at her, it had been two years soince he'd been dumped at hers and he hated every moment "I don't want to wear a skirt to school! I'm a boy!"

She glowered "In my day, little boys were happy with whatever-"

Wil sigehd and took the skirt, anything for some peace "P-Please could I have some pants for school?"

"Well, if you're a good boy, we'll see."

"Thank you" beamed Wil, pulling on his patched up jumper before grabbing his bag and racing down to the tiny village elementary school.

Before he got to the gates, two boys walked up to him. "Hey, youre wearing a skir. Are you a girl?"

Wil stepped back, uncertain about the two boys who seemed much bigger than him "N-No" he stammered.

"My big brother knows a girl who says he's a boy. He says he's a tranny-fag, then mummy tells him off. Are you a tranny-fag?"

Wil shook his head franticcly, clutching his bear tyhat seemed to get dragged everywhere nowadays "I-I'm just a boy"

"Tranny-fag!" he shoued, running round Wil. "Tranny-fag!!" he punched him har on the arm/

Wil cried out, cluthcing his amr where the boy ahd punched him. He whimpered and started to cry, holding his bear to his face.

"You are a girl! A tranny-fag girl!" He punched Wil again, in the stomach.

Wil doubled over, sobbing openly "Stop!" he cried.
